I love your videos, I use to watch and keep improving my English and because I went to Europe for the first time last year and I loved there.

I live in Guarulhos Brazil where os the most important airport of the country, to make a good parallel I will give an exemple by a different way. Our minimum wage by the local currency is about 1.300, my rent in a 67 square meters is about 2.400, if we go to São Paulo downtown, the main Brazilian city, you pay higher prices.

That’s a misunderstanding with the sausage and the mustard! You can eat your sausage everywhere in Switzerland with mustard (as much as you want) except for the city of St. Gallen. In St. Gallen they have their sausage called “Olma-Bratwurst” that must be eaten without mustard, but you won’t lose any friends. In Zurich we go to the “Sternen Grill” at the Bellevue place and we enjoy our sausage with mustard and fresh crispy bread there.

You forgot to mention that there’s a pension besides the basic government plan where companies put even 14% of your salary and you put like 6% and it has a standard interest rate. If you already have basic retirement plus 20% every year invested why do you need to do much more? Just put aside another 5% in index funds.

About the last thoughts on your video, Women tend to not to care as much about income. That’s in their nature. From my circle of friends, not a single women invests in anything. They do not even know what an ETF is or compound interest is. It’s funny then to see how women complain about average salary of men being higher than average salary of women. Basically it comes from the effort and interest you put in it, in having a pay rise, or a promotion. On the other hand, Average women looks better than average men, they do more skin care, they do less stupid things that can leave you a scar on the face and they use drugs less. Thus, they look better than men. It’s all about the interest you put in it. I’m happy to see how people in Zürich seems to invest their money in something. Whatever it is. In Spain, where i come from, unluckily people see the Government as their parents who will provide in case of need (spoiler, it will not happen) so they don’t invest anything. I’m pretty sure if you ask to anyone in Spain what an ETF’s is, 99% of people will not even know. Even if you say it by the name in Spanish “fondos indexados” they don’t know what that is
